WP 1: Coordination of the project

WP leader: Maastricht University (UM)

The main tasks of WP1 are to ensure that the project activities meet the requirements specified in the Grant Agreement (objectives, activity and output indicators) and to organise the communication and information flow between the work packages.

Beside regular contacts by phone and email, 5 steering group meetings are of major importance for the information flow and the coordination of activities. In the steering group all associated and collaborating partners are presented. The first meeting has taken place at the 9-10 March in Maastricht. The agenda, presentations and minutes can be downloaded.

The next steering group meetings:

·         November 2009 in Lodz, Poland

·         May 2010 in Cologne, Germany

·         October 2010 in Bad Gastein, Austria

·         May 2011 in Varna, Bulgaria

The activities and the status of the project are documented in an interim and a final report. The interim report will be published in summer 2010, the final report in the beginning of 2012.

The project “Solutions for improving health care cooperation in border regions” (EUREGIO II) is carried out by a working group under the co-ordination of the Department for International Health at Maastricht University, Maastricht, The Netherlands.
