Ingeborg van der Molen joined the Department International Health at Maastricht University in March 2010. Her focus is on judicial (e.g. liability) aspects of cross-border health care in the EU - Euregions- as part of the Work package 6 of the Euregio II project (Solutions for improving
health care cooperation in border regions).

Ingeborg studied Health Science (BSc) at the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Science - University of Maastricht - and followed a Masters in Health Law (LLM) at Maastricht University.

During her studies she has been involved in several studies in the cross-border health care in the Euregio Maas-Rhein. Her Master thesis was on the subject of liability (of medical personnel) in cross-border emergency care in the Euregio Maas-Rhein. Momentarily she is working on an article on quasi-contracts in cross-border emergency (emergency care) situations in the Euregio Maas-Rhein.
